The Congressional Research Service has a requirement for the operation of a Mail Room to provide sorting of incoming mail and books (intended for CRS, Library of Congress or congressional offices) and to provide for the delivery and pick-up service of mail and books for Congress. The CRS Mail Room is located in the Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building. Congressional deliveries/pickups are made to/from various offices in five House office buildings (the Cannon, the Longworth, the Rayburn, the Ford, and the O'Neill), three Senate office buildings (the Russell, the Dirksen, and the Hart), and the United States Capitol Building.
