Bzdusek, 513/366-2003 The Enviromental Protection Agency anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price construction contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services for a Contractor to improve the noise levels in laboratory room L113. The work shall include but is not limited to the following replacement of two rooftop fume hood exhaust fans and associated electrical connections; revision to the existing fan inlet ductwork; new transitions in the fume hood exhaust and makeup air plenum ductwork to two laboratory hoods; replacement and relocation of motorized control dampers and operators; and installation of new suply air ductwork and diffusors at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Newport Oregon facility as specified in the specifications. The work shall be performed in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations governing this construction project. The work shall be performed by persons trained, knowledgeable, licensed and qualified in air systems. The Project is estimated in the $25,000 to $100,000 range. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be ready for issuance around the 21st of August with a due date around September 21, 1995. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The size standard for a small business is average annual receipts for the preceding 3 fiscal years of $7,000,000.00.
