consisting of 4 ea AC/DC Power Supply Model IPS-7 and 1 eat Remote Amp
System, Model #AM-50 Plus. Critical Specifications are as follows: (1)
Due to space restraints aboard the aircraft, equipment must be man
portable and not weigh in excess of 30 lbs; (2) Equipment must be
ruggedized, waterproof and be able to operate in a vast area of harsh
environments, altitudes (airborne) and fluctuating climates; (3)
Amplifier must be capable of supplying at least 50 watts to UHF SATCOM
Radios currently in the Marine Corps inventory; (4) Amplifier must be
able to operate from standard batteries currently in the Marine Corps
Supply system; (5) Amplifier must be capable of remoting the SATCOM
radio at least 2000 fett from the antenna; (6) Amplifier and Power
Supply must both have current/surge protection devices as part of their
electronic circuitry; (7) Power Supply must be capable of operating on
not only US current; 110/220 Alternating Current (AC), but other
worldwide AC voltages as well; (8) Power Supply must be able to accept
a frequency range of at least 400Hz as to allow an interface with the
aircraft's power receptacle; (9) Power Supply must be able to convert
input voltage to a regulated 26-27 Direct Current (DC) voltage; (10)
Both Amplifier and Power Supply must incorporate connecting devices
that interface with current Marine Corps Battery, Crypto and Radio
Equipment. This is a sole source procurement for the purchase of SATCOM
Mission Kits as manufactured by Cincinnati Electronics Corporation,
7500 Innovating Way, Mason, OH, 45040,9699. This is a Request For
