59 -- TARGET ACQUISITION AND SURVEY SET (TASS). Contact Contracting Officer, John Loux (410-278-3399). The TASS is a follow-up requirement which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Litton Systems, Inc. Under contract DAAD05-94-C-9015, Litton provided a prototype Mini Laser Range Finder (MLRF) with internal compass, inclinometer, Global Positioning Satellite and Day/Night capability. The scope of the current effort is to continue development with the design and manufacture of TASS prototypes which will ensure that the system will meet environmental, RAM, and producible requirements.
