Requirement is for Expendable Bathythermograph Probes, Sippican T-10 or equal used to collect temperature data profiles of the ocean to various depths (depending on the model) while underway on oceanographic vessels. Solicitation will be issued on a brand name or equal basis, including salient characteristics, for an estimated quantity of 1380 cases over the period of two years. Solicitation will be issued on or about 16 August 95. The required delivery date is 90 to 120 days after award. All responsible sources submitting proposals in accordance with the solicitation will be considered for award.
