Gilligan, Contracting Officer. The Integrated Sight Modules Technology Demonstration (ISM TD) is a program under the joint, umbrella-type 21st Century Land Warrior (21CLW) program. The goal of 21CLW is to define and demonstrate the technologies, hardware, and tactics that will enable the ultimate land warrior to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. The objective of the ISM TD is to demonstrate the integration of an eyesafe laser rangefinder, thermal imager, electronic compass, eyesafe infrared laser pointer, and direct view optics into a single weaponsight capable of finding targets at extended ranges, supporting advanced weapons, and automatically transmitting the target information to higher echelons. There are two versions of the Integrated Sight: a short range version and a long range version. The final solicitation will be published on the EBB on or about 14 August 1995. All interested offerors must obtain an EBB password. No hard copies will be provided. The US ARMY COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRONICS COMMAND (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to industry. EFFECTIVE 1 OCTOBER 1994, ALL SOLICITATIONS ISSUED FROM FORT MONMOUTH For ACQUISITIONS OVER THE SMALL PURCHASE THRESHOLD WILL BE SOLICITED Via EBB. AFTER 1 OCTOBER 1994 ONLY THOSE PARTIES WHO DO NOT HAVE The EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO ACCESS THE EBB WILL BE FORWARDED HARD COPIES UPON REQUEST. HOWEVER, As OF 1 JAN 95 HARD COPY WILL NO LONGER BE DISTRIBUTED. (Exceptions are Post, Camp and Station acquisitions.) All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. Detailed information regarding system requirements is contained in the U.S. Army CECOM EBB User's Manual. A User's Manual, Identification Code and password will be issued upon request.
