A -- VIRTUAL RESEARCH VENTER (VRC) DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION SOL 8-W-5-PP-02618 DUE 083195 POC Contact Mark R. Stiles, GP54, 205-544-0381/Contracting Officer NASA/MSFC plans to procure research and development effort for an integrated Virtual Research Center (VRC) from International Space Systems, Huntsville, AL, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA). The effort will include development of an integrated VRC on a dedicated file server that includes the following Internet services: file management system, file upload utility, list server, team directory, real-time discussion capture tool, and on-line help. The sole source to ISSI is primarily based upon their expertise and the ISSI Common Gateway Interface Automated Retrieval Universal System (ICARUS) which is essential to development of a flexible VRC with consistent user interface from multiple platforms. RFQ for this effort will be released approximately 15 days after publication of this notice and will have a 15 day response period. Request for copies of the RFQ must be submitted in writing.
