G -- CHILD CARE SERVICES POC Contract Specialist ROSA ELMORE (502) 798-7825 Contracting Officer GERTRUDE COLBERT (502) 798-7566 (Site Code DAKF23) CHILD DAY CARE SERVICES - provide on-site child care services at Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, a Government furnished facility with a kitchen area. Child care services will be for a period of 12 months for 3 consecutive days monthly and other services may require additional days. Hours of operation will be from 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs. Services will be for approximately 40 TO 70 children ages ranging from newborn to 6 years. Services shall include the contractor providing Arts & Crafts, toys, Educational and Developmental Programs for children 6 TO 10 years of age. Contractor shall provide custodial services for the two rooms used for child care. Contractor shall provide lunch and snacks, which can be prepared at the Government furnished facility. If the estimated number of children does not show, the contractor may reduce the number of contractor's employees at site. Contractor is required to provide a Child Development Training Plan for approval by the Government. Contractor is to furnish cribs for infants and mats for older children for resting periods. Contractors Qualifications: First Aid and CPR Certified, Negative T-B Tine Test, physical within the last year, have a valid (WITHIN THE PAST THREE YEARS) CDA (Child Development Associates Credentials) or equivalent, two year college Degree in Child Development or equivalent, food handlers course, must have no child abuse or sexual abuse allegations or convictions, read and speak English fluently, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, must be able to stand for long periods. Contractor must be NAEYC (NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG CHILDREN) certified or equivalent. Contractor will be subjected to a back ground investigation. These services may be acquired as a requirement contract to meet the child care needs from various activities on Fort Campbell. This is a request for available information from the Marketplace.
