ATCOM proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis, the overhaul/repair of the AH-64 Shaft Driven Compressor (SDC). The proposed contract will be an indefinite quantity type with a minimum quantity of 68 each to a maximum quantity of 550 (includes FMS quantity of 25 each). Output NSN/PN is 2840-01-345-2584/606545-10-1. This acquisition is restricted to Allied Signal, Inc., 2525 W. 190th Street, Torrance, CA 90509 or McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ 85215. These are the only contractors who possess the necessary technical data, skilled personnel, special tooling, and test equipment to overhaul/repair the AH-64 Shaft Driven Compressor.
