J -- MAINTENANCE CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH MERIDIAN INSTRUMENTS SOL DAAD05-95-R-0894 DUE 082495 POC Contract Specialist Kevin Clark (410) 278-4003 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground will conduct negotiations solely with Meridian Instruments to add two additional option years to contract DAAD05-93-C-0006 for maintenance of Meridian equipment. The Government's intent to procure with Meridian is because they are the equipment manufacturer and have certified technicians capable of maintaining the ACAS Interactive Laser Cytometer and the HX-500-PD-2/AC Refridgeration Recirculator. They are the only firm known that can provide replacement and spare parts. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC(c)(1). Note 22 applies. (0209)
