This project is a resolicitation of a project that was published in the CBD on November 3, 1994. The project consisting of roadway construction of approximately 3.4 miles of the Natchez Trace Parkway and approximatley 2.5 miles of adjacent county roads. The work includes grading, drainage, aggregate base, hot asphalt concrete pavement, the constrcution of two structures, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Clearing and Grubbing, 80 ACRE; Roadway Excavation, 250,000 CUYD; Unclassified Borrow, 550,000 CUYD; Aggregate Base, 100,000 SQYD; Hot Asphalt Concrete Pavement, 4,500 TON; Structural Concrete, Classes A(AE) and D(AE), 3,000 CUYD; and Drilled Shafts, 11,000 LNFT. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 and has a construction completion date of July 31, 1998.
