Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and performance of all operations required to complete Repair Base Pavements at McConnell AFB, KS. Work includes, but is not limited to, reconstructing or resurfacing various vehicle and equipment parking lots, streets, roads, and miscellaneous pavements througout the base. In addition, work will also include construction of new pavements. Pavement repairs to include patching, overlaying with asphaltic concrete, curb and gutter replacement, valley gutter replacement, sidewalk and handicap ramp installation and replacement, milling, pavement removal, pulverizing, slurry sealing, compaction, lime stabilization and pavement markings. Also included is construction of new curb and gutter, storm sewer inlet, manhole, and storm sewer line as required. This is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Requirements Contract. Magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-95-B0042 is 25 Aug 95. Tentative opening date is 25 Sep 95. Performance period will be 365 calendar days after notice to proceed. This is a basic year and two option years. Standard Classification Code is 1611. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 10 calendar days of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capabilty to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 25 Aug 95. No telephone requests for bid sets will be honored. All requests for bid sets must be in writing. Please include your business size, phone number and address in your written request. Written requests will be honored on a ``first come-first served'' basis. Various plan holding publishing houses will have bid sets and a listing of all plan holders for subcontracting opportunities. No requests for bid sets will be honored when supplies are exhausted.
