Z -- ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS TO BUILDING 10 SOL IFB-6879 DUE 091495 POC Mr. Jan H. Brown, 202-324-2458. NOTE: This procurement action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to renovate an existing vehicle maintenance building of approximately 8,836 square feet into a telecommunications facility at the FBI Academy, U.S. Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. The work will consist of, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Sitework, including asphalt paving removal and patching, excavation and trenching, communications duct bank and manhole installation, and concrete work; 2) Demolition of concrete masonry unit walls, concrete floors, metal doors and frames, gypsum board walls, wire fencing, aluminum and glass wall, mechanical work, plumbing work, and electrical work; 3) Relocation and installation of miscellaneous equipment; 4) Construction of concrete masonry unit and gypsum board walls, metal doors and frames, raised access floor system, and suspended ceilings; 5) Construction of fire service line, fire alarm and sprinkler system; and 6) Construction of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, plumbing work, electrical power and lighting, and emergency generator. Specifications and detailed requirements will be furnished with the Solicitation. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Copies of the Solicitation are available by MAIL REQUEST ONLY. A deposit of $200 per set (limit of two sets per firm) is required. Deposit is refundable if Solicitation is returned within fifteen (15) days after Bid Opening.
