41 -- WATER AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WITH AIR COOLED CONDENSER SOL A-95-19 DUE 090195 POC Carolyn Smith, Contracting Officer, (202) 622-0803. The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices intends to competitively award a firm fixed price contract for one forty (40) ton packaged chilled water air conditioning unit with air cooled condenser. The air conditioning unit shall have the following standard features: Multiple scroll compressors, hot gas bypass, low ambient, oil failure, low pressure, high pressure safety cut out switches, service valves on compressor, fused disconnect, water pressure and temperature gauges, two (2) chilled water pumps, one pump to be used for a spare. The system shall have one (1) year parts and labor warranty, and four (4) years extended warranty on the compressors. One 40 ton matching air handler shall be horizontal blow thru arrangement with a steam coil and chilled water coil, combination filter mixing box, high efficiency filters, one 3-way bypass chilled water valve thermostatically controlled by room thermostat. A new pneumatic/electrical control panel for this equipment shall be installed. All necessary high/low voltage wiring, pneumatic control wiring, rigging, vibration isolation, hangers, equipment supports, chilled water piping, steam piping, condensate piping, pipe insulation, glycol sulution, refrigeration specialities, sheet metal modification, air balance, and labor shall be furnished and installed. All equipment shall be U.L. labeled or equivalent. The procurement is 100% set-aside for small business.
