The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to release solicitation CC-95-R-0028 for Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software to assist Bank Examiners with examining national banks Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance. Changes to the CRA become effective on January 1, 1996. The software will be used by OCC Examiners for provideing demographic data of banks' delineated community (assessment area) and performing analyses of banks' mortgage (HMDA), small business and consumer loan data. The software will run on the Bank Examiner's computer platofrm, which typically consists of a Laptop DX486 coputer (8 mb RAM and 120 MB HardDisk) and Windows compatible software.
