The following specific capabilities are sought by the Government in order to be able to determine if the requirement maybe set aside: (a) Describe in detail issues and potential solutions associated with synchronizing a data base on an IBM ESA running a VM or ESA operating system and a SQL-DS data base management system with a data base running on a RISC6000 running an AIX operating system and an Oracle data base management system; and (b) Describe in detail issues and potential solutions associated with establishing an IBM SNA/3270 terminal session on a DOS PC, attached to an EtherNet TCP/IP based local area network, where an IBM mainframe computer is attached as a server. Please address the above stated capabilities in a brief narrative (10 pages or less) and provide to DISA per the address in this synopsis, not later than 17AUG95.
