The solicitation notice concerning refuse collection and disposal services (IFB114-0098) for the Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto, PA published in the CBD on July 11, 1995, is hereby modified pursuant to the various changes promulgated by the issuance of FAC-29 published in the Federal Register on July 3, 1995, involving the new Simplified Acquisition Procedures and corresponding dollar threshold changes. The referenced Invitation For Bid (IFB114-0098) is changed/converted to a Request For Quotation. The new solicitaion identification number is RFQ114-0104-5. The cntractor is to provide refuse removal and disposal services on an as needed basis at te Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto, PA as per the solicitation specificatons. Refuse to be compacted by the Government. Five (5), thirty (30) cubic yard compactor/dumpsters to be provided by the Government. This will be a firm fixed-price indefinite delivery requirements contract. Approximately seventy (70) ``pulls'' may be required during the contract period. The contract period is October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. Solicitation documents will be available on or about August 18, 1995. All requests for solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer listed above. No FAX or telephone requests will be accepted.
