The work shall consist of clearing and grubbing, 190 feet of rock riprap and 207 feet of rock filled PVC-coated gabion streambank protection, obstruction removal, and seeding and mulching approximately 0.4 acres at two sites in White Sulphur Springs, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, designated as White Sulphur Springs Emergency Watershed Protection Site. The estimated quantities of work are: Clearing and Grubbing, 1 LS; Seeding and Mulching, 0.4 AC; Mobilization, 1 LS; Rock Riprap Streambank Protection, 784 TN; Rock Filled PVC-Coated Gabions, 525 CY; Obstruction Removal, 1 LS. Performance time is 31 calendar days. A pre-bid conference/site showing is scheduled for August 30, 1995, at 10:00 a.m.. Plan to meet at the Natural Resources Conservation Service Office, located on Scott Street, off of Route 60 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
