Zeckser, (907)586-7901, Additional Contact, Lisa Peterson, (907)586-8880 Project consists of the construction of approx. 0.4 miles of crushed aggregate surfaced road; the construction of two crushed aggregate surfaced parking areas; the construction of approximately 700 feet of 6 foot wide gravel trail; the obliteration and blocking of the existing roadway; the furnishing and installation of two gates; the furnishing and installation of a culvert with flared end sections. There are also additive bid items which consist of the furnishing and installation of bollards; the furnishing and placing of topsoil; the furnishing and planting of Birch trees; the furnishing and installation of parking bumper; the furnishing and installation of sign with post; paving of handicapped parking spots and 60 feet of the entrance road; seeding and mulching; and the furnishing and installation of dumpster screen. Project is located on the north side of the Portage Highway at approx. mile 1.4, approx. 53 miles from Anchorage, Alaska. There will be a pre-bid meeting. Date and time will be included in specifications. Contract time is 120 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
