Y -- FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM RENOVATION AT THE USEPA NATIONAL VEHICLE AND FUEL EMISSIONS LABORATORY, ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN SOL C500792T1 POC Contracting Officer, Bill Wise, (513)366-2025 This project involves the replacement of halon throughout the facility with FM-200 fire suppression agent and sprinklers, as appropriate. Work will include removing halon containers, heat detectors, and control panel and replacing with FM-200 system with new heat detectors and control panel or with sprinklers as appropriate; replacing existing fire alarm panel with new addressable fire alarm panel; replacing existing transmitter/receiver panel with new intelligent monitoring panel and transferring all connected points; and installing new flow switches where the sprinkler system is replacing the halon system. Work shall be performed at the USEPA National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory, 2565 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Anticipated completion date is approximately 180 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated price is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
