Z -- REPAIR R-11 HVAC VARIOUS FACILITIES. SOL F26600-95-B-0717. Contact Ms. Colwell, Buyer, Nellis AFB NV, 702/652-9117; or FAX 702/652-2532. Provide all material, labor, and all else necessary to replace old R-11 HVAC system with EPA approved R-22 systems for two buildings at Nellis AFB, NV. Work consists of, but is not limited to, remove one existing R-11 chiller from each of two buildings, install one new R-22 chiller in each of the two buildings; modify the electrical distribution system to accommodate the new chiller installation; modify the Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) to accommodate the new installation; modify the plumbing and piping systems, including equipment relocation as required to accommodate the new installation; disconnect, relocate, and reinstall existing boiler over a weekend; and remove asbestos as indicated on the contract drawings. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 with a performance period of 150 calendar days. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1711 with a three year average annual small business size standard of $7.0 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above the following information: (1) evidence of capability to perform a project of this size and type; (2) a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; (3) intent to bid as a prime contractor; (4) intent to bid using 15% of their own labor force to perform the work; and (5) bonding and financial capacity. Evaluation of the responses received will be based solely on the information received by the closing date. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis to the extent available. Only written requests (FAX acceptable), received directly from the requestor on company letterhead, will be accepted. Requestors must provide the company name, size status, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, a street address (no P.O. Box), and whether they intend to bid as the prime, a subcontractor, or a supplier. (209)
