Postal Service is soliciting proposals for removal and replacement of the roof at the Redlands, California Lugonia Station, a postal-owned facility. The estimated range is $125,000-$175,000. Determination of responsibility will be based on the following factors: 1. Satisfactory completion of 3 projects of comparable size, scope and cost in the past two years; 2. Firm's capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 3. Positive references from past clients. Contractor must be able to perform on site, with its own organization, work equivalent to at least 12% of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract is 10%. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of current State of California contractors license must be received within ten days after issuance of intent-to-award letter. The Postal Service does not accept individual sureties. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, amount of any offer, identity of offerors or relative standing of offerors will not be disclosed until after contract award.
