1560-K0-172-277BBJ This cutting tool contract is one of 3 contracts
that will provide the RAAF and USAF (option) with the necessary tooling
and hardware for the f111 cold work mod. This ctk is for the cutting
tooling only; reamers, drill bushings, and 3 constant pressure pull
motors. These reamers are designed to work w/ the motor to avoid heat
damage to the D6Ac steel. Vendors will need to be MIL Q qualifie and
first article testing by the govt is required. The USAF will provide
all needed eng data for mfr. This will be an IQ contract with the RAAF
requirement beintg the minimum order. Max order will include the USAF
requirement which will be an option on the contract. A kits consists
of approx 255 single piece reamers and 232 two piece reamers. About 400
tooling accessories such as drill guide bushings, bushing holders, and
hole locater pins and a pull motor. The delivery data includes time
for first article testing and approval. One pull motor along with 20
selected reamers & assoc tooling reqd for FAT. 2lt. Opt 01 1 lt

date will be 21 Aug 95. First article test required. No telephone

requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a bid,
proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. It is suggested that
small business firms or others interested in subcontracting
opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact
with the firm(s) listed. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear
concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal
development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is
not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting
officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements,
and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When
requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the
source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the
evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested
