It is the intent of Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) to place an order with Hughes Brothers for spare parts for the Sidney North Yuma 230KV Line. This is for brand name or equal products. Items must be direct spare parts for Hughes Brother equipment. The spare parts are as follows: 10 each HBS-1 Structure Package C4342-B1 with 1 x-brace and overhead groundwire in suspension, 4 each 3A-1-230KV Structure Package, 1 each 3AC-1-230KV Structure Package with 1 x-brace, 4 each 3TA-230KV Structure Package without x-braces, and 10 each 2121-22-0 x-brace. Suppliers of identical or equivalent items may submit written data to demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement at a lower cost alternative than that provided by Hughes Brothers. Such data must include as a minimum, a complete listing of items, complete specs to identify item capabilities in sufficient detail to permit technical evaluation, pricing data, point of contact, business size, freight charges if F.O.B. Origin, and number of days required for delivery. All responsible sources must submit written responses to WAPA, Loveland Area Office, P.O. Box 3700, Attn: J1231/RFQ 27829, Loveland, CO 80539-3003, within 15 days from the date of this notice. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days after publication of this notice to effect that a comparable source is available, an order will be placed with Hughes Brothers.
