J -- AUXILIARY CRANE REPAIRS - MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND MODIFICATION OF THE AUXILIARY DIESEL GENERATOR LOCATED ON FOUR (4) SEPARATE MARAD RRF VESSELS Sol DTMA-94-95-B-52507. Vessel currently located in San Francisco Bay Area, where all work is to take place. Auxiliary Crane Repairs - Maintenance, repair and modification of the auxiliary diesel generator located on four (4) separate MARAD RRF Vessels. Vessels are SS Green Mountain State, SS Gem State, SS Grand Canyon State and SS Keystone State. Furnish labor, material, and equipment to include but not be limited to machinery opening, system flushing and/or cleaning, regulatory surveys and other miscellaneous work. Any interested firm may request a copy of the solicitation for work on this vessel and all responsible offerors may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The Maritime Administration requires that to be eligible for award under this solicitation offerors must be holders of the MARAD Master Lump Sum Repair Agreement (MLSRA) or shall apply for and agree to the terms and conditions of the MLSRA. Offerors may accept the MLSRA with their bid; non-holders shall provide all annual representations and certifications as required by the MLSRA. NOTE: For Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSBU) has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
