Scope of work: The work consists of providing all labor, material, equipment and services necessary to remove existing 4 ply built-up roofing system and install a new high tensile strength, multiple layer modified bituminous roof system. Total roof area is 175,000 square feet, including one low canopy roof over the truck docks and two penthouse roofs. Other items of work include: removal and disposal of asbestos containing built-up roofing from the east penthouse consisting of approximately 27,000 square feet; removal and disposal of concrete walkway and work areas and installation of new steel and concrete walkways, installation of new CSPE membrane roofing on loading dock canopy and promenade roofs, replacement of roof drains; insulation; and, miscellaneous metal work. No Pre Proposal Conference is scheduled. The estimated price range is between $1,300,000.00 and $1,800,000.00 with completion required within 250 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
