Scope of work: The work consists of providing all labor, material, equipment and services necessary to complete the improvements to Freight Elevators Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 located in the Truck Terminal Annex (TTA) and Freight Elevators Nos. 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and the Material Hoist. The work shall include: the replacement of one existing elevator with a new electric traction elevator, modernization of six existing electric traction elevators, modernization of four hydraulic elevators, replacement of existing hoist with vertical reciprocating conveyor, masonry, miscellaneous metal fabrications, doors, hardware, drywall, painting, rooftop heating and cooling units, sheet metal and all associated electrical work. Work shall be completed in phases. Offeror must have a minuimum of five (5) years experience in elevator work and must have satisfactorily completed at least three (3) projects of similar size and scope. No Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled. The estimated price range is between $3,000,000.00 and $4,000,000.00.
