The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure one (1) each Computer System, CD Tower; 56 subsystem; 77-in tower; 486 motherboard w/16MB RAM; 500MB hard drive; FDDI card; 56-ea CD readers; 8-ea CDTRACK 4X rack modules; 1-ea CDTRACK-PSM power supply module; 10-ea SP-PS0025 power supplies (8 for racks, 1 for CPU, and 1 for spare); system must have: IBM blue lighting 75MHZ CPU (Pentium upgradeable) or better, 1.44MB floppy drive, serial and parallel ports, monitor with VGA card, keyboard and mouse, DOS 6.2 or higher and drivers pre-loaded, CD-ROM management software, ethernet support for coaxial (thin ethernet BNC) and 10BASET (twisted pair), token ring support for 4 and 15MB/sec data rate over shielded and unshielded twisted-pair wiring, sustained data transfer rate of 600KB/sec or better, burst data transfer rate of 4.2MB/sec or better, CD-ROM interface SCSI-2, and simultaneous CD-ROM access for all network users; must be compatible with: MS-DOS 6.2 or higher, Microsoft Windows for Workgroups, Novell Netware 3.X and/or higher, and ATM; system attaches directly to network backbone of LAN equipment (EMIC).
