Provide an off-line micro-based, state-of-the-art electronic database system/service using Compact Disk-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM), System shall be new, off-the shelf hardware/software, commercially available, current production, supported and maintained by a single contractor throughout the geographical scope of specifications. The system must be capable of complete interaction within the environment consisting of VT 100 compatible terminals, 32-bit mini and micro computers, IBM PC/AT, Wyse PCC, and Zenith PC. Software must be compatible with MS-DOS Version 3.1 or higher. Performance characteristics to include, but not limited to the following: Rapid, accurate and complete coverage/support data/logistics information on parts and parts info procured and/or stocked by the Government from the Federal Supply Catalog System; accurate search and retrieval information to include searches by National Stock Number (NSN), National Item Identification Number (NIIN), Manufacturer Part Number (MPN), Federal Supply class (FSC), Federal Supply Code for Manufacturers (FSCM), Item Name and Company; IL search, batch and retrieval capability; master cross reference capabilities, and complete display capabilities. System shall be updated on a continuing basis. Subscription for a period of one (1) year beginning 1 Oct 95, or date of award if subsequent thereto, and continuing through 30 Sep 96, 14 each, delivery to Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL 36201-4199.
