R -- R -- SYSTEMS ENGINEERING FOR ADVANCED TOMAHAWK WEAPONS CNTRL SYSTEM (ATWCS) POC Contact, PAUL E. YOUNG, Phone (703)604-0903 Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract to Southeastern Computer Consultants, Inc. 904 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401 for: (1) continued development of an Interactive Support System for the Tomahawk weapons systems including systems engineering of a single data base from which engagement planning, strike coordination, scenario generation and reconstruction, as well as technical manuals and documentation can be generated; (2) continued development of software for an electronic documentation network; (3) development of Tomahawk training curricula and shipboard training on this Interactive Support System and data base. This is the first attempt by the Navy to develop interactive on-line documentation with a weapons system using all off-the-shelf development tools; therefore, the Navy has determined this effort to be sole source in order to preserve the hardware and software experience and training investment by the current contractor and the Navy.
