S -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXECUTE A SOLE SOURCE, FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPPORT (FMS) SERVICES, PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY, HAWAIIAN AREA, NIIHAU, HAWAII SOL N62742-95-R-3506 POC Contact Mr. Dean Burnett, Contract Specialist, (808) 474-7043 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a contract with Niihau Ranch in accordance with Public Law 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), which allows acquisition from a specified source. The purpose of the contract will be to provide Facility Maintenance Support (FMS) services for a segment of the Pacific Missile Range Facility on the island of Niihau. The services include: pest control, grounds maintenance; road repair and maintenance to include sweeping and edging away vegetation; facility maintentance; fuel oil maintenance services for government equipment; helicopter support services; and maintenance of government emergency housing. The estimated start date is October 1, 1995. The type of contract considered is Fixed Price with Indefinite Quantity provisions which will include a base year plus four pre-priced option periods. This includes the Government's right to extend any options without readvertisement. This is not a request for a proposal. (0214)
