Furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to install a new replacement Substation ''C'' and demolish existing Substation ''C'' in the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005-5001. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the following principal features. The general outline does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, material and equipment required by the specifications, plans and drawings. The work to be provided includes the following: 1. Environmental: Provide erosion, sediment control, and storm water management measures for installation of New Substation ''C'' and demolition of Existing Substation ''C''. 2. Electrical: One (1) 3750 KVA substation transformer rated 34.5 KV delta primary, 2400/4160Y/7920/13,800Y, 3 phase, 4 wire, secondary. One (1) 34.5 KV voltage regulator with bypass and isolation switch. 15 KV secondary switchgear with drawout circuit breakers, ammeters, ammeter transfer switches, voltmeters, voltmeter transfer switches, demand meters, kwh meters, control switches & overcurrent relays, etc. (3) Demolition: Demolition and removal of Existing Substation ''C'' after New Substation is installed tested, and in service. Rough and finish grading and turf re- establishment for areas disturbed during construction. Repair of roads and pavements disturbed or damaged during construction, to match existing. This solicitation is issued using Full and Open Competition (F&OC). The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The Government anticipates an award of a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract. Contractor's performance period is 270 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. All responsive and responsible bids submitted by prospective contractors will be considered. (0214)
