SOLICITATION: The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision to perform all operations required to construct a steel framed aircraft maintenance hangar with masonry exterior as an addition to an existing building in accordance with the plans and specifications. New work is approximately 9,200 SF. The contractor will be responsible for site work, concrete and bituminous pavements and some alteration to the existing building. Utility work is included, as well as a fire suppression system and reroofing the existing building. There are four (4) additive bid items as follows: 1. Roof repairs on the existing building, 2. Finishes, lockers and benches, 3. Catwalks and ladders, 4. Provide a self-contained fiberglass repair booth. All work to be performed at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Performance period is for 365 days after the receipt of the Notice To Proceed.
