The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include removal of some interior stud and block walls, removal of some existing facilities, patching of floor and block wall, relocating the existing lighting and installing switches in the relocated lighting system, constructing new offices and restrooms and installing an exterior door. The estimated cost of the work is $25,001 to $100,000. The work is situated in the Bureau of Reclamation's Twin Buttes Construction Office, 5973 Knickerbocker Road in San Angelo, Texas. Solicitation packages will be available approximately August 31, 1995. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 10 am, October 3, 1995 at the Office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 300 East 8th Street, Room 801, Austin, Texas 78701. The contract must be completed no later than 30 days after receipt of notice to proceed. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional copies will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for each copy.
