Campbell (615)736-7276. Clover Fork Miscellaneous Channel Features; Upper Cumberland River Basin, Local Protection Project; Harlan County, Kentucky. Work shall consist of the following miscellaneous work in the vicinity of Harlan County, Kentucky: raising an approximate 700 ft. section of Harlan Gas Road upstream of Harlan Diversion Tunnels, including the construction of a 2,200 sf concrete masonry block retaining wall (max. height 11.75 ft), construction of 230 lf of culvert pipe, including triple 36'' pipes w/headwalls, 2,480 cy of roadway embankment, 315 tons of bituminous concrete base and surface, 720 tons of granular base, 700 lf of steel guardrail, relocation of 700 lf of 8'' DI water main, and other roadway construction; the removal and disposal of approx. 13,000 cy of deposition within the portals and tunnel T-3 of the Harlan Diversion Tunnels; Stabilization of approx. 2,100 lf of the Clover Fork streambanks by placing approx. 7,500 tons of rip rap, requiring 4,600 cy of bank excavation, relocation of approx. 300 lf of 2 1/2'' water line, and 10,750 sy of geotextile fabric; the construction of 56 ft flat bottom ditch approx. 4,600 ft long in rock within the abandoned channel of the Clover Fork River, misc. landscaping work at the Floodwall, including construction of sidewalks and planting of trees and shrubs. Duration of the job is 240 calendar days and is estimated to be in the range of $500,000 through $1,000,000. The SIC Code is 1611, average annual receipts for preceding three years not to exceed $17.0 million. Award will be made pursuant to the Digs Program (PL 100-656).
