The work includes the repair of existing leaks, modification of the gas distribution network to increase capacity in certain areas, test, and adjust and repair and/or replace regulators, isolate all underground gas piping from above ground gas, water, electrical grounds, etc., and eliminate underground shorts, the installation of impressed current systems, galvonic anodes, testing and design, and incidental related work. Contract will establish and maintain a Quality Control Program. Work will be completed 180 days after notice to proceed. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. A limited number of bid packages, one set of specifications and half size plans, will be available and issued to prime contractors on a first come first serve basis.
