Z -- REMEDIATION OF MEDICAL FACILITIES, VARIOUS LOCATIONS, GERMANY POC Point of Contact, Elaine Gray-Frasure, Contract Specialist (011- 49-611-816-2624) or Pat Hill, Contracting Officer (011-49-611-816- 2620) A ''General Interest Meeting'' is scheduled on 24 AUG 95, 10:00 hours at the Amelia Earhardt Bldg, Conference Center, Ground Floor, Konrad Adenauer Ring 39, Wiesbaden, Germany for the Medical Remediation Program in Germany. The purpose of this meeting is to provide attendees with background information of the program, a vision of how this program will be implemented in Germany, and most importantly, an opportunity for attendees to provide suggestions on how better to implement the program. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity. Performance period is Base Yr plus four Option Yrs. Scope of work comprises repair and renovation of three major hospitals and approx 27 satellite clinics through-out Germany, to include complete clinic makeovers (painting, carpeting, ceilings, etc.) conversion of rooms/facilities to medical uses, etc. The work is divided by two categories: Regular projects and Emergency Response Action Projects. Regular projects will be executed using a three phased approach: site survey, work plan, and remediation. Emergency Projects will be executed expeditiously upon tasking in a time and materials delivery order with a not-to-exceed funding limitation.
