These requirements are over a five year period. Any resultant contract award will be issued as a five year Requirements Contract with 2 base years and 3 option years. All materials required in the repair process must be provided by the contractor (CFM). Drawings are not available. Due to the non-availability of drawings, competition will be restricted to currently approved sources: Sikorsky Aircraft and SPAR Areospace. Other interested companies are encouragedto seek source approval by requesting a copy of a Source Approval Package (ASO code 0534,215-697-1234) and by requesting a copy of the solicitation for informational purposes and future potential proposal submissions. If evaluation of a submitted source approval request can not be processed in time to obtain needed repairs in accordance with the government's requirements, an award based on this solicitation may proceed based on Naval fleet support needs., See Note 22 (0215)
