The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for 36 RISC-based X-terminals with an optional requirement for 30 additional units. Delivery shall be made to Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia. Units shall be delivered with hardware, software and software license, documentation, and one year warranty. The X-terminals shall possess the following features: (1) X-Stone Benchmark speed of at least 200,000 XStones or equivalent, (2) Minimum of 20MB of RAM, expandable to 64MB, (3) Support display Postscript, (4) minimum of 20 inch high resolution (a minimum of 1600 x 1200) color monitor with a minimum of 70 Hz non-interlace refresh rate, (5) Energy Star compliant, (6) Support local window manager with OSF/Motif look and feel, (7) Provide 10Base5 AUI interface, 10BaseT Twisted Pair, and Thinwire, (8) Support Simple Network Management Protocol for centralized management of terminals, (9) Integral floating point hardware support. Additional minimum requirements will be listed in the solicitation. Delivery shall be made to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5100. Delivery may be staggered. The first shipment of 15 units is required within 30 days from date of award. Solicitation N60921-95-R-4096 will be issued on or about 17 August 1995. The solicitation will close 30 days after issuance.
