ONGOING PREVENTIVE AND POC Contract specialist, Sandy Scales (703)767-1170//Contracting Officer, Carol Leon (703) 767-1170 70-the Defense Distribution region West (ddrw), Defense Depot sanjoaquin, Sharpe facility located in Lathrop, California is considering entering into a negotiated contract for one year for preventive and remedial maintenance of a Government owned Allen Bradley vistalan/1 broadband local area network (LAN). The broadband LAN at the ddrw Sharpe facility supports the information resource management system and provides the sole access to mission applications for some areas throughout the Depot, including commandgroup. Preventive and remedial maintenance is needed to prevent or correct anomalies in Signal levels and broadband cable plant which may cause networkdowntime. The LAN must be available, accessible and in Good working order to provide mission support and thus accomplish mission function. The broadband LAN must be operating and available to the Sharpe site in order to provide mission support at Defense Depot San joaquin. All parties interested in providing the support to maintain the Sharpe broadband LAN should submit their qualifications, and a description of their currently availablefacilities. All responses must contain sufficient information to enable evaluation of the capability of the Company'S ability to meet requirements of the agency.
