The Acquisition and Business Management Directorate of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition has undertaken a leadership development initiative to involve and to benefit the Navy's contracting people. As a departure point, it is interested in management activities in the general areas of succession planning, team building, as well as developmental needs assessment and planning. Expansion into other management areas may occur in the future. Interested parties are requested to provide any brochures or other available information on existing and commercially available automated support systems which address these activities. The information should address the system's capabilities for (1) a complete listing fo contracting and managerial functions, (2) capturing data from individual participants in many focus group activities, and (3) performing statistical analyses on these data for management decisions related to prioritization of functions by grade level. Providing information on the system's additional functions and/or expansion ability would be useful. In addition, system resources requirements and pricing structure should be outlined.
