C -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY CONTRACT FOR TWO INDEFINITE DELIVERY CONTRACTS #42 AND #43 (OPERATIONS DIVISION) FOR SURVEYING WITHIN THE NEW YORK DISTRICT BOUNDARIES SOL CBAEOP-5200-0029 POC WILLIEN CUNNINGHAM PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT 212-264-9123. This is a modification to Commerce Business Daily issue of 25 July 1995. Scope of Services Required: Provide a full range of surveys within the New York District. Beach surveys for both contracts will make up approximately 75% of all delivery orders. These surveys will require near shore, surf zone and upland profiles. The required method for profile data collection is by towed sea sled. Firms must show in their profile data collection is by towed sea sled. Firm must show in their proposals the ability to collect profile data using a sea sled and automated positioning.The remaining effort for these contracts is surveying borrow areas, dump sites and navigation channels for both condition and dredging. Establish horizontal and vertical control of Second Order Class II as required. The reference grid system will be State Plane Coordinate Systems in both NAD 27 and NAD 83. The terms of these contract is one year. There is an accumulated $750,000 limit and a maximum of $150,000 per delivery order for each contract. Technical capability required: The firm selected must have one or more senior staff persons licensed to practice Land Surveying in the state of New York and New Jersey. The following two additional evaluation factors are included: f.The extent of participation of SB, SDB, historically black colleges, and universities, and minority institution is secondary selection criteria and will be used as a ''tiebreaker'', if necessary g. Volume of work previouslyt awarded to the firm by the Department of Defense, with the object of effecting an equitable distribution among qualfied A/E firms, including small and small diadvantaged business firms and firms that have not had prior DOD contracts. This is a secondary selection criteria which will be used as a ''tie-breaker'' if necessary. (0215)
