J -- PROCURE PLANNING YARD SERVICES AND SUPPORT OF THE SUBMARINE NR-1 SOL N00024-95-R-6215 POC Karla Harris, Contract Administrator, (703) 602-8306/7. The Naval Sea Systems Command proposes to procure planning yard support services for the Submarine NR-1. These services and support shall include engineering factory and field support; equipment repair, maintenance and modification; ship alterations and improvements; training, provisioned item order, and related data. The Navy intends to negotiate this effort on a sole-source basis with Unisys Corporation, Government Systems Group, Great Neck, NY. Unisys is the only known source possessing the necessary data, approved facilities, test capabilities, and engineering/manufacturing expertise to perform the work and satisfy the Navy requirements.
