The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for removal and replacement of the roof at the San Bernardino, CA North Park Station. The project includes but is not limited to replacing the existing roof with a new built-up roof. Includes removing all existing roof materials, replacing damaged or deteriorated roof deck as required, building up (increasing slope of drainage of) existing crickets, increasing curb heights, lifting and reinstalling HVAC equipment and skylights, relocating roof drain lines, diverters, and downspouts, renewing all coping, flashing, counter-flashing, etc. Estimated Range is $75,000 to $125,000. Minority Subcontracting Goal is 10%. Contractor must submit a copy of the required license and have successfully completed a minimum of 3 similar roofing projects of this size within the last 3 years. Contractor must be able to perform on site, with its own organization, work equivalent to at least 12% of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, amount of any offer, identity of offerors or relative standing of offerors will not be disclosed until after contract award.
