VA Hospital, Montrose, NY. This project is to renovate first and second floor Building 13 for Patient Privacy in accordance with patient privacy criteria, JCAHO and Department of Veterans Affairs. Work to provide construction of private and semi-private bedrooms for two (2) - 36 psychiatric treatment wards. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Asbestos Abatement, Demolition, General Construction, Walls, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Plumbing, Electrical Lighting, Receptacles, Nurse's Call System, Mechanical, Window Air Conditioner's Key Control Switches and all alterations and construction required for space function and changes impacaed on, due to new construction for patient privacy. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000. and $1,000,000. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about July 31, 1995 and will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. No fee for plans or specs. Mandatory contract completion time of 600 calendar days. Bid opening date is August 31, 1995 at 2:00 PM. Requests for bid documents must be in writing. No telephone or fax requests will be honored.
