66 -- HI-STAR DETECTOR SYSTEM WITH NEW GONIOMETER SOL 52SBNB5C8828 POC Diane Loeb (301) 975-6399 The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) intends to procure on a sole source basis with Siemens Analytical X-Ray Instrument, 6300 Enterprise Lane, Madison, WI 53719-1173 for a trade-up of existing X-100 to HI-STAR Area Detector System and Imaging Proportional Counter Area Detector, #862-969000; Frame Buffer, #842-051100; Upgrade to SAINT (#843-003100) from XENGEN; and a one year loan of a three-axis PLATFORM System (#882-003800) for integration with Siemens Area Detector-Right Side, at no cost. Also included is an option to purchase two additional systems (#862-969000, #862-051100, #843-003100) within one year of the contract award. This system is required to maintain hardware and software compatibility with existing X-ray area detector data collection systems maintained in the NIST/CARB research laboratories. Compatibility with currently used systems for X-ray data acquisition and processing is also required. Delivery is FOB Gaithersburg, MD within 120 days after award. Numbered Note 12 is applicable.
