Roberts, Contracting Officer, (214) 308-1891 The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue Invitation for Bids (IFB) IRS-95-SW-177 for courier service to transport daily deposits from the IRS Service Center in Austin, Texas, to the Federal Reserve Bank in San Antonio, Texas. The requirement is for dedicated service two times daily from January 15 through May 14, and once daily for all other months. Liability insurance in the amount of $350,000 per incident is required for reconstruction of lost or stolen securities. Shipments do not contain cash. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable SIC is 4215 with a small business size standard is $18.5 Million. The IRS anticipates award of a firm fixed-price contract for a base year beginning October 1, 1995, and four option years. The IFB will be issued on or about August 21, 1995.
