Manufacturer: Kelley Dock Systems--Their authorized dealer for the Washington metropolitan area is Charles Hodges & Sons, 2415 Maryland Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21218--A request for quotation for brand name only requirements will be issued for the purchase and installation of 6 Kelley, Model FX 6 x 8-30, Dock Levelers--Work to be performed at the FBI Building, 10th and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20535--Scope of work: This project consists of removing the existing 6 mechanical dock levelers and replacing them with 6 new Kelley, FX 6 x 8-30 Dock Levelers into an existing pit which is approximately 8' 11'' long by 5' 10'' wide (measurements to be field verified by successful bidder)--Alterations to the loading dock facilities may be required--Delivery to be made no later than 120 days after award date--A walk-thru of the work site will be held prior to bid closing--All responsible sources will be notified as to the day and time--Consequently, this acquisition will be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures with only one source under the Statutory Authority 41.U.S.C.253(c)(1).
