46 -- TEMPORARY FALL CHINOOK ACCLIMATION FACILITY AT PITTSBURG LANDING, IDAHO COUNTY, IDAHO SOL DACW68-95-B-0062 DUE 092195 POC Contract Specialist Sandra Thomas (509) 527-7212 (Site Code DACW68) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a solicitation for a temporary acclimation facility consisting of sixteen (16) fiberglass water tanks (20 feet diameter by 4 feet high), two (2) fabricated aluminum water distribution boxes (7 feet by 7 feet by 10 feet), two (2) trailers (7 feet by 10 feet) with two hyrdocyclone desanding units per trailer, four (4) stainless steel wedge wire water intake screens (18 inch diameter by 20 inches lone, and 4-, 6- and 8-inch PVC piping with couplings, fittings, valves, and accessories to be delivered to Pittsburg Landing, located along the Snake River in Hell's Canyon near Slate Creek, Idaho. Pumps will be furnished separately. Furnish electrical annunciators, water level instrumentation systems, boxes, conduits, conductors, etc. The acclimation facility is to be portable so all items must be able to be disassembled, transported, stored, and reassembled at various locations. contractor is to furnish all items, deliver to the site, assemble all components, provide a technician to assist with the operation and maintenance of the equipment during the 3-month operation period, then disassemble the facility and transport and store at a designated storage location.
