This procurement is for globe body temperature control valves. Valves must meet the following specifications. End Connection: 1''-150# RJ ANSI FLG; Material: 300 Series Stainless Steel; Trim, Seat, Guides, and Gaskets Replacable with material suitable for service conditions. NO ASBESTOS ALLOWED.; Leakage: Bubble Tight; Cv MIN at Full Open: 11; Service Conditions: 1. Medium - Liquid Air 2. Design Pressure - 275 PSIG 3. Design Temp - -325 Degrees F; Actuator and Positioner: Provide the valve complete with a pneumatic spring cyclinder actuator. The actuator shall perform to rated specifications with an air supply pressure in the range of 60 to 80 PSIG. The valve will perform with a proportional air supply of 3 to 15 PSIG from full close to full open. The valve and actuator shall come factory assembled in an ''air to open'' or ''fail closed'' mode. This failure mode shall be field reversible. The response of the valve shall exhibit the characteristics of a first order linear system to a 10-90% (of full scale) step input. Under the step input, the valve shall have a rise time of not more than 1.5 seconds. The valve shall be furnished with a position PAC including limit switches (open and closed, Form C, 5 AMP, 120 VAC contacts) and a 1K OHM potentiometer (factory mounted) which will indicate 75% minimum resistance when valve is full open. The open and closed Form C limit switches and the position potentiometer (CW, W, CCW wires) shall be factory wired to a terminal strip mounted in the electrical housing which has a 1/2'' conduit entry. The valve actuator shall cause the valve to have linear flow versus command characteristics. Travel stops are to be provided to prevent overtravel in the full open and full closed positions. The valve shall have a 0.5 second emergency closing time. All electrical shall meet NFPA Class I, Division II, Group C/D hazardous area requirements.
